This week marks the second anniversary of Seko’s death and I came across this picture on my laptop from when I put together his funeral program. I can’t believe that it’s been two years since that family meeting where the doctors told us that there was nothing more they could do for him.
April and May bring about a lot of reminiscing for my family. Memories of my Mom and Seko make the rounds hard during this time and like always, I’ve been thinking about them. Missing them. It’s not something that ever goes away but the void they left behind is front and center still.
This was Seko’s Pre-School graduation picture. Pre-School. He was a baby. Such a handsome kid though. Miss you, Sek-Geezy!
Wow, they already had the tradition of wearing the graduation gown even back then! LOL. He was cute boy for sure!
Funny… all the kids look small at that age… you wouldn’t know how strong and big they grow up to be!
Yep. I remember passing this picture hanging in our living room when I was a kid. Seko looks just like my brother Pete in this picture. It’s crazy.
Happy Friday!
