Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & the Bookish but now it’s hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl and it’s a feature that everyone participates in so I’m going to try and participate myself and see how long it lasts. Wish me luck. This week’s prompt is:
City of Bones (Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare: I used to want to read this series, back before the show on Freeform started. Now? Meh.
My Most Excellent Year by Steve Kluger: I read so many great reviews on this book and some of my book buddies really enjoyed this one so I wanted to read it but, not anymore. I don’t remember anything about this book or even why everyone loved it and I can’t be bothered to be excited about it anymore. 🙁
Guilty Pleasures (Guilty #1) by Laura Lee Guhrke: I can’t remember why I wanted to read this series but it’s been so long that I’m not all that interested in it anymore. Oh well.
Sky High Air series by Jill Shalvis: I remember when I first started reading Shalvis, I wanted to read this series so bad and now? Not so much.
A Heart So Wild (Stratton Family #1) by Johanna Lindsey: I used to really be into cowboy romances or romances set in the Wild, Wild, West but I just know that I don’t have any interest in reading any more of these books these days.
Save Karyn by Karyn Bosnak: I used to want to read this book back when I was really into chick lit but it’s nothing that I’d be interested in reading now.
Flirting with Danger (Samantha Jellicoe #1) by Suzanne Enoch: I don’t remember how this book ended up on my TBR pile but it did and I don’t have any interest in reading it these days so off my TBR list it goes.
The Raven Prince (Princes #1) by Elizabeth Hoy: I remember when everyone used to rave about this series and I remember putting it on my TBR list because of the hype it got. I never got around to reading it and now? I’m low key over wanting to read this one so off my TBR list it goes.
Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers: I used to enjoy Courtney Summers books and I remember when her books were at the very top of my wishlists but too much time has past and I no longer have a need to read this one.
Chasing Stanley (New York Blades #5) by Deirdre Martin: I used to want to finish out this series but after a while, this series fell off my radar and I don’t really care about going back to finish it out like I did.
What are some books you used to want to read but don’t anymore? Share in the comments!
