My Life in Books

I keep meaning to do a bunch of these book tags but never get around to it but when I saw this particular book tag on Grace’s blog, I wanted to give it a go and so I did.

1. Find a book for each of your initials.

Runaway Groom by Lauren Layne
Naughty Boss by Whitney G.
Wildfire by Ilona Andrews

2. Count your age along your bookshelf – which book is it?

Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas

Holy cow, I was scrolling for a long time to get to this title on my kindle. Being in your thirties is the pits. Haha. But I do love this book.

3. Pick a book set in your city/country.

Just the Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James

I live in Torrance, California but it was hard to find a book set here that I’d actually read so since Torrance is in L.A. County, I went for a book set in L.A. and Just the Sexiest Man Alive is one of, if not, my favorite books set in Los Angeles. Jason and Taylor are freaking great!

4. Pick a book that represents a destination you would love to travel to.

Powerful Greek, Unwordly Wife by Sarah Morgan

I’ve never been to Greece before and I really want to go. I’d love to eat authentic Meditteranean food. I’d also like to go to eat fish and chips in England, pizza in Italy, croissants in France and visit all of those other European countries.

5. Pick a book that’s your favorite color.

What Happens in London by Julia Quinn

My favorite color is red and off the top of my head, this cover came to mind when I thought of red book covers. I so love this book.

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

The Year We Hid Away by Sarina Bowen

I have the fondest of memories from this book. The satisfaction I got from reading through to the end, seeing how Bridger and Scarlett’s journey came to an end?? I freaking loved it. This book broke my heart but that ending was so satisfying that whenever I see this book out in the wild, I smile because Bridger, man. I love that guy.

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

If You Don’t Have Anything Nice to Say by Leila Sales

I had to keep putting this book down because I wanted to punch someone the further I got into the story. I kept reading because I had to know how all of this ended. I needed to know if the main character finally learns her lesson and ugh…the ending pissed me off so much. I’ll be reviewing that book this week on the blog so prepare yourselves for a very long rant.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment if you finish it?

Magic Triumph by Ilona Andrews

Probably this book because I haven’t read the first book in this series yet and I’m determined to read this entire series this year. It’s going to be a long journey but I’m here for it. Wish me luck.

Well, that was fun. Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

  1. I like this book tag, I’ve got a couple on my radar and this is looking really fun. And you’ve never been to Greece before? It’s a standard holiday destination in the UK as a lot of Europe is so easily accessible. It’s so lovely there and I’ve always felt really welcomed there. And the beaches are pretty too. Definitely recommend. I hope you get through the Kate Daniels books, they are a great a series and it’s one I’m still behind on so fingers crossed I get through it too.
