I didn’t get around to reading anything this weekend so I started this book this morning. I’ve only read the first two chapters and so far, it’s okay. I’m hoping that it picks up and that I’ll get over the hero’s attitude about love and marriage. Wish me luck! 🙂Sparks fly when the hot-shot divorce lawyer meets the high-powered wedding planner. The only question is, what kind?
If you ever get married, remember my name: Max Henderson. In my line of work, you acquire a certain perspective on supposedly everlasting unions. . . .
1. Pre-nups are your friend. 2. The person you married is not the person you’re divorcing. 3. And I hope you didn’t spend much on the wedding because that was one helluva waste of hard-earned cash, wasn’t it?
But some guys are willing to take a chance. Like my brother, who thinks he’s going to ride off into the sunset with the woman of his dreams in a haze of glitter on unicorns. And the wedding planner—the green-eyed beauty who makes a living convincing suckers to shell out thousands of dollars on centerpieces—is raking it in on this matrimonial monstrosity.
The thing is, Charlie Love is not unlike me. We’re both cogs in the wedding-industrial complex. As the best man, I know her game—and I can play it better than her. But after one scorching, unexpected kiss, I’m thinking I might just want to get played.

What I Got for Review

Oh I hope you like To All The Boys! I know you are so excited about it! And that is a good “Fitzy”! I wish I had the motivation for 150 min of walking a week. Ugh! You are my hero!
Thanks, Samantha! I am super anxious for the movie to come out because I thought they did such a great job with the casting so I’m hoping the movie will be just as awesome.
It’s amazing how my motivation went right up when my doctor encouraged me to join my sister’s on their walks. It’s probably that whole wanting to please my doctor thing but whatevs…I’m feeling good about these small changes in my daily routine so I hope it sticks.
That sounds like a nice workout, even better because you have company. How many minutes do you walk per day?
I hope you’re baking cookies for Lara Jean!!
It is pretty nice to have a support group to walk with. Right now, we’re walking for 50 minutes, 3 times a week. I’m sure we’ll start walking more but for right now, it’s working for us.
Yesssss!! I can’t wait to bake cookies and watch the movie on Friday.
Yay for taking up a little workout. I like to think not being able to drive so walking a lot more places constitutes a workout. I think some would disagree but I’m doing okay at the moment. I might try and increase my workout at some point. And don’t hate my but I’ve still not watched To All The Boys I Loved Before. I planned to at the weekend and everything got in the way and now I’m avoiding twitter and the internet because spoilers!
Thanks, I’m happy with the progress that I’m making on my walking schedule. I think that if you walk everywhere that constitutes as a work out so you do you booboo! 🙂
Whenever you decide to watch the movie, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I’m sure you will but I still hope it. 🙂
