Eye Candy Friday is something that I’ve been doing since I first started my personal blog way back in 2003. That first personal blog is long gone but I’ve never really grown out of the eye candy phase. I’m always up for some eye candy. Whether it’s a character from a book (male or female, I don’t discriminate), a character from a movie or TV Show, if I loved them and want to gush about how much I loved them, you’ll find them here. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
This week, I’m featuring Korean actor Park Seo Jun as Park Saeroyi in Itaewon Class. He is probably single-handedly responsible for my obsession with all things Korean drama right now. I fell completely in love with his square ass character, Park Saeroyi while watching Itaewon Class. He was such a straightforward, said what he said and made no apologies for anything kind of man that just really hit me in all of the right places. From the very first episode until the last episode of this show, I was invested and I connected with everyone and everything, most especially with Park Sae Ro Yi.
He really goes through it. There were so many lows for him but he survived everything and was ready for anything and I just loved the hell out of him. I thought that Park Seo Joon played this role so well and so effortlessly that I couldn’t get enough. I watched this show super fast because I needed more Park Seo Joon because on top of his character being completely amazing, he was fine as hell. I mean, check it out…
Saeroyi didn’t have an easy life but he was the definition of determination because no matter what life threw at him, no matter how hard the bad guys kicked him down…he always got back up and he continued to steadfastly fight for the life that he wanted and he did things in the right way. He never let him guard down and he never took any short cuts. His integrity and the memory of his father kept him tightly leashed to the straight and narrow and I loved the hell out of him. So that’s why he’s this week’s Eye Candy Friday.
