So, every month I put a list together of the books that I either need to read for review or the books that I want to get around to reading (finally). I’m also trying to be more responsible with my Kindle Unlimited and Audible Escape subscriptions so I’m going to post my TBR Pile on the blog so you guys can keep me honest. This year, I’m going to start breaking my TBR Pile up into different sections so that I know which books I’m reading for what because in my old age, I need the reminders.
Here’s a peek at the books that are on My TBR Pile for the month of June.
Buddy Reads

Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase
The Siren’s Lament by Instantmiso
I missed last month’s book club zoom meeting so I’m going to make a solid effort in reading this month’s book because I’m reading a lot more these days than I have in the last few months. I’m trying to hold on to my reading habit for all I’m worth…haha. Sometimes I feel like this…

The other book that I’m reading is a buddy read with my best friend, Therese. We were supposed to start our BTS Universe journey in June but I started reading The Siren’s Lament instead so I’m pushing our BTS Universe buddy reading adventure until next month.
Review Pile

To Sir with Love by Lauren Layne
Devil in Disguise (The Ravenels #7) by Lisa Kleypas
I’m on my way to completing this part of my TBR pile for this month. I just need to review both of these and I’ll be solid for this month. Wish me luck on that.
TBR Pile

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 12
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 13
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 14
I started collecting the print books for my print library after I finished the first season of the anime and saw the movie in theaters. I’m hooked on these books so I’m going to continue the Demon Slayer party by reading these this month.
Kool- glad to see your doing well with reading. So much to read, watch and listen to in a day- need more time lol! Them Mangas are good. I need to get back to reading them. Happy reading!
Hey you! Yeah, I have to make do with the time that we do have to get these shows watched and these books read. I’m really enjoying the Demon Slayer books.
I hope To Sir, With Love is good! I’m so bad at book clubs.
To Sir, with Love was good. I’m not mad at all that I read it but is it a favorite of mine? Nah. Still, solid read. *waves*
I wish I had a TBR pile, but I wish you luck with yours. I also want to reread lord of Scoundrels now I’ve seen it here. I didn’t even know Lauren Layne had a new book out, this shows I’ve been out of blogging. I must get back, but the bonus is I have no review books for June… but I do have a lot of new releases I want to buy.
Are you just taking a break from blogging or do you think your hiatus might be a little more permanent? I hope it’s not permanent but you do what makes you happy. I’m thinking of just buying the books that I want to read instead of having a review pile each month. I keep changing my mind though so I should probably figure that out soon cause while I’m still reading, my reviewing is absolute crap right now. Gah.
I’m planning to come back, I’ve just not quite got there yet. I think I needed the break just hard to get back into a blogging routine. I think I might do the same and abandon arcs for a little while. I’ve missed so many releases it’ll be nice to not have the pressure to read by a set date at least.
That’s the attitude I’m having for ARC’s. I’m only requesting 1 or 2 books a month so that I’m heavy on obligated reads. It’s nice to not have any pressure to read books by a certain date.
I’ll be reading whenever you get back to blogging.
