The Monthly Recap posts are a way for me to take a look back and reflect on my previous month in Korean dramas. I always lose track of what I want to watch and I need these posts to keep me honest with my damn self because I be forgetting shit.
September was a busy month for me. I was traveling between home and Utah and then I traveled to Hawaii for my nephew’s wedding. I spent an entire week in Hawaii and just lived my best life. I had a lot of fun with my family but was ready to go home and get back to work after a week. My heart was full being able to spend time with my Dad, my sisters, my daughter, and the rest of my family in paradise. So because of all the traveling and family time, my k-drama watching suffered though I did my best to keep up with everything because I didn’t want to be too far behind schedule after I returned home.
So let’s start this recap, shall we?

Of the dramas that I completed in September, my favorite of the bunch is probably Big Mouth. A lot of people didn’t like how that show ended but I wasn’t mad about it. I could see that ending coming a mile away so I guess I was prepared when it finally came about. Overall, that drama was just the bomb and I was hooked from beginning to end. My least favorite of the month goes to Once Upon a Smalltown. That show dragged for me and didn’t really pick up throughout the entirety of the show. I watched for the male lead and while I enjoyed seeing him every week, this wasn’t my favorite of his characters.
