I Miss These Two!

Every couple of days, my Dad will send me to 7-11 to get him a Coke. For some reason, he’s got to have a coke when he’s eating his food so the other night, I went to pick up Dad’s coke and when I opened the fridge thing to grab one, I came across this…

So of course I had to take a picture and send it to them because seriously? I miss my dudes! As much as I’m enjoying my new job and everything that I’m learning, my co-workers – nobody will ever replace these guys. There was never a dull moment with these guys.

Currently Reading

Tangle of Need (Psy/Changelings #11) by Nalini Singh.

Discover the exhilarating risks of passion in the breathtaking new Psy-Changeling novel by Nalini Singh, the New York Times bestselling “alpha author of paranormal romance” (Booklist)…

Adria, wolf changeling and resilient soldier, has made a break with the past—one as unpredictable in love as it was in war. Now comes a new territory, and a devastating new complication: Riaz, a SnowDancer lieutenant already sworn to a desperate woman who belongs to another.

For Riaz, the primal attraction he feels for Adria is a staggering betrayal. For Adria, his dangerous lone-wolf appeal is beyond sexual. It consumes her. It terrifies her. It threatens to undermine everything she has built of her new life. But fighting their wild compulsion toward one another proves a losing battle.

Their coming together is an inferno…and a melding of two wounded souls who promise each other no commitment, no ties, no bonds. Only pleasure. Too late, they realize that they have more to lose than they ever imagined. Drawn into a cataclysmic Psy war that may alter the fate of the world itself, they must make a decision that might just break them both.

It’s Riaz and Adria time. I’m zipping right through this book because I’m anxious for Heart of Obsidian since it’s Holly’s favorite book in the series and that’s high praise since she’s hard to please. So far, this book is good. The conflict is different from anything that I’ve seen paranormals so it’s a good avenue to explore and Singh has written it well so I can’t complain.

Falling into Bed with a Duke (Hellions of Havisham #1) by Lorraine Heath (re-read) | 4.5 out of 5
Bonds of Justice (Psy/Changelings #8) by Nalini Singh | 5 out of 5
Play of Passion (Psy/Changelings #9) by Nalini Singh | 4 out of 5
Kiss of Snow (Psy/Changelings #10) by Nalini Singh | 5 out of 5

It’s hard for me to choose my favorite read of this week because I read both Bonds of Justice and Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh. Both books were freaking amazing! I absolutely adored both Max Shannon and Hawke Snow…but even more, Sophie and Sienna freaking slayed. When Sienna comes to the pack’s rescue and goes all Phoenix on everyone??? I was so stoked and could not stop talking about that to people that just didn’t give a damn with me. Stupid Brenna and Chach and Meghan. LOL.

I’m not picking a least favorite because I loved all books that I read this week.

Sidebarred (Legal Briefs #3.5) by Emma Chase

Not a lot going on, reviewing wise. I’m reading more than I’m reviewing so I need to fix that.

The Rule Book (Rule Breakers #1) by Jennifer Blackwood
Rush by Shae Ross

I’ve been hearing good things about these books so of course I had to get them.

For Review

Who’s that Girl? by Mhairi McFarlane
Bittersweet (True North #1) by Sarina Bowen
Wild Embrace (Psy/Changelings) by Nalini Singh

I’m a big fan of all authors I received for review this week. BIG FAN!

There you have it, my week in books. How did your week go?

Man Crush Monday

I’m knee deep into my reading of the Psy/Changelings series by Nalini Singh and I can’t get over the last book that I read, Bonds of Justice. That book was so stinkin’ good and Max Shannon?? The human detective with the mind shield against Psy’s rocked my freaking socks and this is what he looks like in my head…

No seriously…you’re welcome. 🙂
