Can’t Wait Wednesday is hosted by Tessa over at Wishful Endings and it was based on Waiting on Wednesday that was hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.

I decided that I’m going to do a mashup of the Can’t Wait Wednesday and WWW Wednesday posts here on my blog. I’m bringing them together and calling it The Wednesday Post. Here’s what I’m up to this week.

WWW Wednesday

What did you recently finish reading?

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

The Christina Lauren duo never fail when delivering witty contemporary romances that I just love to pieces. It was no different with The Unhoneymooners. What an absolute delight!

What are you currently reading?

Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin

So far, I’m digging this one so I’m glad that I picked this one up for review. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for more bookish goodness from Jalaluddin. Her writing style is great!

What do you think you’ll read next?

If It Makes You Happy by Claire Kann
The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen

I’m super stoked to jump into both of these books because I adore all things Sarah Dessen but If It Makes You Happy sounds super cute so I’m looking a lot like this while I finish up the book I’m reading now because soon…

The storm of the century is about to hit Little Bridge Island, Florida—and it’s sending waves crashing through Sabrina “Bree” Beckham’s love life…

When a massive hurricane severs all power and cell service to Little Bridge Island—as well as its connection to the mainland—twenty-five-year-old Bree Beckham isn’t worried . . . at first. She’s already escaped one storm—her emotionally abusive ex—so a hurricane seems like it will be a piece of cake.

But animal-loving Bree does become alarmed when she realizes how many islanders have been cut off from their beloved pets. Now it’s up to her to save as many of Little Bridge’s cats and dogs as she can . . . but to do so, she’s going to need help—help she has no choice but to accept from her boss’s sexy nephew, Drew Hartwell, the Mermaid Café’s most notorious heartbreaker.

But when Bree starts falling for Drew, just as Little Bridge’s power is restored and her penitent ex shows up, she has to ask herself if her island fling was only a result of the stormy weather, or if it could last during clear skies too.

Meg Cabot has always been one of my top contemporary romances back in the day and I have a feeling that she is one of those authors that I will always want new books from so I’m stoked about getting this one. It comes out on September 24th so we have a bit of a wait but I’m sure it’ll be worth it…Meg Cabot slays the romance game so let’s add this one to our wishlists, shall we?

So, what are you reading this week? Anything good? Anything that you want to rant about?
Are you looking forward to No Judgments? What other books are you looking forward to releasing this year?
