What I Did
December was for Christmas and then New Year’s Eve. This year, Bren, my Dad and I were on our own for Christmas so we really just lazed around and enjoyed having the house to ourselves. No cleaning up after a million people. No waiting around for everyone to leave so that you can crash. Just the three of us arguing over what we’re going to eat and binge-watching Hart of Dixie and golf.
On the Sunday before Christmas, my sister Delene and I, along with our kids went to Church to watch my Dad sing in the Ward Choir and…

The choir is sitting up on stage, facing the congregation so if you’re sitting up there, the congregation can see everything you’re doing. My Dad and my friend’s Dad are probably worse than little Primary kids. They were messing around all throughout Sacrament, laughing it up, making faces and all I could do was shake my head. That freaking old man. They were making faces at the back of the speakers back and heavy sighing during the prayers and just making everyone laugh. After Sacrament, I tell him that he needs to be more reverent during Sacrament and he told me to shut up. LOL.
Caiden came down for another visit to his California home and it was nice to have him around for a little bit. He only stayed for almost a week but hey, I’ll take what I can get. It’ll probably be April before we see him again and we’ll be in Utah instead of him coming to California and I am A-Okay with that.
For New Year’s Eve, I stayed in and binge watched the heck out of Game of Thrones. I’m going to re-watch the entire series before it comes back on with new episodes in April. I’m back to hating Joffrey but surprisingly, I don’t hate Sansa with this viewing. I’ve hated her throughout all of my other viewings but not this one. I still don’t want her to Jon though.
