This week went by really fast but I got a lot of reading done. This week was also Lukey’s 6th birthday so we celebrated that at Disneyland (on Thursday) and then again on Saturday at Mulligans (a family fun center for all you non-So Cal residents).
Here’s our turn up picture at the ever famous Birthday Green Wall.

As you can probably guess, we had load of fun for Lukey’s birthday.
…and now, on with the books.

Eight Ways to Ecstasy (Art of Passion #2 ) by Jeanette Grey.
In this stunningly sensual sequel to Seven Nights to Surrender, acclaimed author Jeanette Grey reunites readers with a young artist and the man who’ll stop at nothing to have her . . .
EIGHT WAYS TO ECSTASY
Kate Reid’s whirlwind romance with billionaire playboy Rylan Bellamy complicated her life in ways she’d worked to avoid. She’d fallen hard for his flirtatious charm and given him the one thing no other man had: her trust. Just as Kate began to imagine a future with Rylan, everything fell apart.
Now she’s starting over in New York…but even the glittering streets of Manhattan can’t erase the memory of Rylan knocking her off her feet and sweeping her into the most erotic, unforgettable week of her life.
It’s been months, and Rylan still can’t forget Kate. Months since he bared his soul at her feet. Months since he drove away the only woman to ever make him feel. Kate changed his world and now Rylan is determined to win her back-no matter what it takes. After crossing an ocean to reach her, he makes a deal with Kate: One more week, for one more chance. Now it’s up to Rylan to show Kate all the ways they fit together . . . and prove that this player has met his perfect match.
I’m just about done with this book and it is just as enjoyable as the last book. Rylan is just as sexy and mysterious though he’s trying to be less mysterious so that Kate (and us, the readers) can get to know him. He wants to share himself with Kate and it’s hitting me right in the feels because he was so standoffish in the last book, so reserved and seeing him let go…I’m digging it.

Nobody but You (Cedar Ridge #3) by Jill Shalvis | 4 out of 5
All Chained Up (Devils Rock #1) by Sophie Jordan | 4 out of 5
Ignite (Wildwood #1) by Karen Erickson | 4 out of 5
Undecided by Julianna Keyes | 4.25 out of 5
This One Moment by Stina Lindenblatt | 2 out of 5
Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott | 4 out of 5
My favorite read of the week is hands down Undecided by Julianna Keyes. The romance between Crosbie and Nora was too freaking sweet. I loved it. I adored Crosbie and thought he was such a fantastic love interest. I loved that she fell for the best friend, the wingman and not the main attraction. I loved that Crosbie was afraid he wouldn’t get the girl and that Nora proved him wrong. I loved these two even when they were getting on my nerves with their boneheaded thoughts and actions. The feels were real in this book.
My least favorite read of the week goes to This One Moment by Stina Lindenblatt. I could not connect with either of the main leads. Nolan’s reasons and thought processes made me want to punch his lights out and Hailey got on my nerves too. They were best friends, they should have talked more…especially since they were trying to find their way back to each other and the whole thing with the actress and Nolan going back? Hurting Hailey the way that he did? Ugh. Wasn’t a fan of that. He should have handled that a lot better than he did. I just…wasn’t a fan of a lot that happened in the book.

Fully Ignited (Boston Fire #3) by Shannon Stacey

Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan
Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata

None.
I didn’t get any new review books since I went a little crazy requesting books last week. I’m waiting on one eARC but I haven’t gotten that yet. I’ll list it next week.
There you have it, my week in books. How did your week go?
