Eye Candy Friday is something that I’ve been doing since I first started my personal blog way back in 2003. That first personal blog is long gone but I’ve never really grown out of the eye candy phase. I’m always up for some eye candy. Whether it’s a character from a book (male or female, I don’t discriminate), a character from a movie or TV Show, if I loved them and want to gush about how much I loved them, you’ll find them here. This week, I’m featuring Nam Joo Hyuk as Jung Joon Hyung from Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok Joo. This show was another recommendation from my friend, B Nice, and I have to be honest, I wasn’t all that thrilled about starting it. I wasn’t a very big fan of the college dramas that I watched til now but man did this show turn that around for me and Jung Joon Hyung was a huge reason for that. He was my favorite part of this show. The way that he lived his life, the guilt and heaviness that he carried around with him, his crush on the girl who liked his older brother, it was a lot but he was a good guy despite all of that. He was a great friend to Kim Bok Joo and when they finally got together, he was a great boyfriend. He was everything that girls dream about. Good looking, supportive, and fun. I had a great time watching this guy act his pants off in this show and that’s why he’s this week’s Eye Candy Friday.
