The Wednesday Five: Places I Want to Visit from K-Dramas

Posted November 2, 2022 by Rowena in Features | 0 Comments

I’m a list person. I have a list for every single thing in my life from a to-do list, a list of books that I want to read, a running shopping list, and in the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing different k-entertainment lists that I’ve been keeping track of. You’ll be seeing my top 5 lists of stuff like my current celebrity crushes, my favorite k-drama female protagonists, my favorite k-drama male protagonists, my to-be-watched k-dramas, and you know, stuff like that.

This week’s Wednesday Five will feature the places I want to visit from K-Dramas.

1. Seoul Land

Featured in K-Dramas: Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, She Was Pretty

I’m not as into going to theme parks as I used to be but I really adored the scene in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon where Ahn Min Hyuk and Do Bong Soon go on a date here. The whole thing was so damn wholesome and charming that I want to go there just for the vibes and replay that scene for myself. I don’t like going to amusement parks all the time but I’m down for a day every now and again.

2. Jumunjin Beach Breakwater, Gangneung-si

Featured in K-Dramas: Goblin, Racket Boys

I LOVED Goblin and Racket Boys so much. Both dramas are near and dear to my heart and I’d love to visit this beach for this iconic picture alone but also, the bench from the You Never Walk Alone album cover for BTS is here as well so that’s another reason why I’m itching to go visit myself.

3. Itaewon

Featured in K-Dramas: Itaewon Class

My first k-drama was Itaewon Class and I absolutely adored it. Once Park Sae Royi gets to Itaewon, everything becomes super colorful and the atmosphere looks super vibey and I’ve wanted to visit that place ever since. I want to visit all of the places that they show in the drama, even the bar where my homie was blocked from. Yeah, I want to see it all.

4. Deoksugung Palace Stonewall Walkway

Featured in K-Dramas: Goblin, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Do You Like Brahms

I’ve seen this stonewall walkway in plenty of dramas and I’ve wanted to visit it every time that I saw it. Being so close to where Gong Yoo walked in so many episodes of Goblin and being in the same place where Lee Jun Ho and Woo Young Woo were on their date? Yeah, I want to be there too.

5. Yongin Daejanggeum Park

Featured in K-Dramas: Alchemy of Souls, The Red Sleeve

I’ve seen this place featured in many k-drama but I’m not going to lie. The biggest draw for me wanting to go there is because this is where the music video for Agust D’s Daechwita was filmed. I adore me some Suga and I LOVE that song and that music video so yeah, I so want to go there but I also want to see where The Red Sleeve and Alchemy of Souls was filmed too.

What are some of the k-drama filming locations you want to visit?
