Number of Episodes: Drama, Business, Contemporary, Romance

Undeniably attractive, talented, and charming, Choi Sang Eun is the living definition of the perfect partner. This is exactly why instead of marrying, she chooses to employ her skills as a contract marriage master. Transforming herself into the perfect partner for each of her clients, Sang Eun allows those who employ her services to live the perfect single life, without having to agree to a committed, life-long relationship.

A long-term client, Jung Ji Ho has been using Sang Eun’s services every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for the past five years. A man shrouded in mystery, Sang Eun knows virtually nothing about Ji Ho but that doesn’t stop her from developing some rather unexpected feelings for him. Making her life even more difficult are the equally unexpected feelings she’s recently developed for one of her newest clients, Kang Hae Jin. A popular actor who employs her services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, Hae Jin often makes Sang Eun’s heart flutter.

Torn between her professional obligations and the feelings she harbors for both Ji Ho and Hae Jin, Sang Eun finds herself in an unexpected predicament. How can she possibly maintain her professionalism when her heart is leading her in two different directions?

I went into this drama expecting one thing but got something else in return. I’m not mad about it. I enjoyed all of the characters, cheered for the mains and was happy in the end. Watching this was a good idea. Let’s get into my thoughts, shall we?

The Story

This story followed three main leads as they try to find love for the first time. These are three individuals who have never been shown an ounce of love in their lives so it was rough going for a while. They all stumbled their way around their feelings, each other, and everything else going on in their individual lives. All of that made this show a whole lot more interesting than I was expecting when I first started it. I was expecting something light, clumsy, and silly but the show ended up being a lot deeper than all that.

Main Male Lead

I was sucked into this show because Go Kyung Pyo’s character, Ji Ho, was such a curious one. He hired a wife that only met up with him three days a week and he forced himself to not want more even though it was obvious that he had feelings for her. He read books on how to act in social situations, and he hardly ever spoke to anyone unless he absolutely had to. He was the least popular guy at work because he was so strange to everyone around him and yet, he got up and went to work anyway.

He was seeing a therapist about everything and for a while, it seemed that his therapist was the closest he had to a friend. But with Sang Eun’s help, he won everyone else over. Sure, he was still strange and it took a while but watching him come into his own and learn how to love and be loved in return was so satisfying. I adored him.

Main Female Lead

I may have been sucked into this drama because of Go Kyung Pyo’s character but I started this drama because I like and enjoy Park Min Young’s acting. I haven’t watched everything that she’s been in but the few shows that I have watched, I liked her a lot. As much as I liked her as Secretary Kim, I think that Choi Sang Eun is my favorite character of hers.

Choi Sang Eun was a dawg. She was a big dawg. She had a pretty rough childhood. She was an orphan and when a pretty woman came and took her away, she built up all of these fantasies about being part of a family so she tried her hardest to please everyone around her, and instead of being happy, she was used at every turn. She was being groomed to be married off to further business opportunities and when she couldn’t take it anymore, she stormed off and never returned to that life. She turned all of that grooming into a successful business for herself and though she lived her life for herself, she still had ties to the woman that kept trying to sell her off to the highest bidder.

Each and every single time that Sang Eun was knocked down, she got right back up and dusted herself off then went out and tried again. She never backed down from a fight and she faced each and every single thing bravely. I really liked her and liked the person she was with both her best friend but with the two male leads as well. She was strong, she was capable, and she was caring. She was the bomb even when she got on my nerves, I loved her.

Second Lead

Kang Hae Jin really grew on me. Not that I ever hated him or anything but he was never in the running for who I wanted Sang Eun to end up with. With each passing episode, I got softer and softer for him because man, my guy just wanted to be happy and in love with someone who loved him back. Who wouldn’t want that? I loved seeing him grow into his own over the course of the drama too. When we first meet him, he’s kind of bratty and the typical celebrity who is only concerned about himself but the more you get to know him, the more you realize that all is not what you see. There was depth to his character and though he was running from his problems, when he finally stands up and fixes them, I thought he handled them well.

So yeah, I loved him too.

The Cast

From Ji Ho’s work place peeps to Hae Jin’s work place peeps and then Sang Eun’s best friend, I thought each group was a lot of fun though my favorite group of the bunch is definitely Ji Ho’s work friends. They each made me laugh, made me mad, or just made me happy. I thought each of them really delivered their best efforts in trying to bring the stories to life and I really enjoyed getting to know each of them.

Hae Jin’s family was a piece of work and I wanted to kick them all in the dick right along with Sang Eun’s Mom. I’m glad that both Hae Jin and Sang Eun were able to find their own people who loved and supported them. Does Sang Eun’s Mom play any other kind of character though? I’m tired of hating her in every drama I see her in. A lot of the cast were new faces to me but I enjoyed them a lot so I’m looking forward to seeing them around other k-dramas. Lots of fun folks for sure.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this drama was an unexpected delight for me. I went into it thinking that I’d get one thing and got something else completely. Something much better. This is a totally bingeable Korean drama. Its packed with a great cast of characters that made me laugh, cry, and happy sigh. Each episode built the story up bit by bit and I appreciated the writers efforts in delivering an enjoyable watching experience. I definitely recommend this drama if you’re looking for a straight up good drama.

Review: Love All Play

Love All Play

Starring: Park Joo Hyun, Chae Jong Hyeop, Park Ji Hyun, Kim Moo Joon, Seo Ji Hye, Jo Han Chul
Year Released: 2022
Number of Episodes: Drama, Melodrama, Romance, Sports
Country: South Korea
Director: Jo Woong
Screenwriter: Heo Sung Hye
Where I Watched It: HiTV
Who I Watched It For: Chae Jong Hyeop

A sports romance drama that depicts the passion and affection for badminton of a male and female protagonist who is a mixed doubles group with players from the badminton business team.

Park Tae Joon, who naturally wound up in the world of badminton because of his parents’ badminton equipment business. Although he had begun to see the sport as work, his passion for badminton is reignited due to a desire to impress a woman.

Park Tae Yang is a former aspiring Olympian who had to leave the badminton world for three years due to a bribing scandal.

This drama made its way onto my radar after I took an interest in Chae Jong Hyeop after watching and enjoying him in last year’s The Witch’s Diner. I haven’t been a fan of badminton before but I did really, really enjoyed last year’s Racket Boys so I was all in once I heard about this one.

The Story

This story follows our main female lead, Park Tae Yang. She was an Olympic hopeful that dropped out of the badminton world so suddenly, and though the world thinks she left because of a bribe scandal, I knew that wasn’t the case from the jump. She was carrying a lot of shit around but when she makes her way back to the badminton world, she has to start from the bottom again and this time around, she has to battle for every single inch.

She’s completely on her own but when she finally makes a friend, things get a lot messier than she was expecting..and she doesn’t even find out how messy until it’s way past the point of no return. When her past catches up with her, she has to see it through and deal with whatever comes next but it’s hard for her because she carries around so much guilt. This drama is all about her coming back into her own and atoning for the things that happened.

Main Male Lead

Our main male lead is Park Tae Joon and when we first meet him, he’s a really talented badminton player who, for whatever reason, doesn’t want to do more than he’s already doing. He’s got the talent to go even further but he doesn’t have the drive or the interest. When he meets Park Tae Yang, a badminton player that he’s been a fan of since he was a kid, she tries to get him to see the potential of everything he can be. Now, because he’s a man and likes Tae Yang as a woman, he’s okay with letting her pad his ego about his potential even if he has absolutely no plans to pursue them.

The stuff that he carried and held on to made my heart grow ten times every time he came on the screen because what a shitty position to be in. He loved his family but he also loved his and understood Tae Yang, more than anyone else understood her so to be stuck in the middle had to have been hard for him but I thought he carried the weight of everyone’s world on his shoulder extremely well. And he looked good while doing it.

Seeing him come into his own over the course of the show was great. I loved him just as much in this show as I did in the other show that I watched him in so I’m definitely becoming a huge fan of his. I adored his acting in this one and can’t wait to see him do some more stuff.

Main Female Lead

I loved Park Tae Yang. I thought she was a worthy female lead and I thought that Park Joo Hyun did a fantastic job of bringing her to life. She was strong and she was determined to take her life back and even though there were times when I got frustrated with the guilt she refused to put down for even a second, I still loved the hell out of her.

I didn’t think she deserved to carry that much guilt on her shoulders and the people that forced her to keep carrying that guilt pissed me off. She was such a great friend and she made a mistake, she never meant for anyone to get hurt and for everyone to have an opinion on her past, on her, seriously pissed me off. She already carried so much and for her to feel like she had to keep on carrying that guilt made me want to hug her close and protect her at all costs.

The Cast

The only people that I didn’t hate at one point or another in this show was Park Tae Yang and Park Tae Joon. Everyone else? I took turns hating the hell out of. The badminton team? Yeah, they came around in the end but in the beginning? Yeah, they could all suck a fat one. Tae Joon’s sister? Yeah, I wanted to punch her in the throat and push her down the hill. The coaches? They could catch these hands too and don’t even get me started on Tae Joon’s Mom. Ugh, what a bitch.

Now I stopped hating everyone when they stopped being little bitches to Tae Yang and I even rooted for the little side romances as well. The secondary romance was cringy though because home girl just couldn’t stop being weird but I’m glad that they ended up together. I liked the other romance too, the slow burn one of the teammates that got together after homie retired. They were cute and I really liked when they finally got together. 🙂

Final Thoughts

This was a great show, all in all. There’s a lot of angst but there’s a lot of humor, warmth, and sweetness to balance it all out. I thought the romance between Tae Joon and Tae Yang was such a sweet one and though it was messy because of her past and his family, I was satisfied with the way it all ended. I really enjoyed all of the main leads, all of the romances, and the ending made me content so I definitely recommend.

Review: Soundtrack #1

Soundtrack #1

Starring: Park Hyung Shik, Han So Hee, Kim Joo Heon, Yoon Byung Hee, Park Min Jung, Park Hoon
Year Released: 2022
Number of Episodes: 4
Genre: Drama, Music, Romance
Country: South Korea
Director: Kim Hee Won
Screenwriter: Ahn Sae Bom
Where I Watched It: Disney Plus
Recommended By: N/A
Who I Watched It For: Park Hyung Shik

Two people have been friends for two decades, but a mere two weeks of living together blurs that fine line between love and friendship.

Han Sun Woo is a handsome rookie photographer with a warm personality, while Seo Eun Soo is a lively, straightforward, and honest person who openly expresses her feelings. Three years ago, she seized a chance opportunity to become a lyricist. Nowadays details of their relatable romance are subtly interwoven into her musical compositions.

This show was on my watch list the moment I knew that Park Hyung Shik signed up for it. I love me some PHS so I was going to watch this no matter what. I had to wait a bit before it showed up on Disney Plus but the minute that it did, I was on it. I watched the entire thing in one work day. It was short and it was sweet and I’m glad that I watched it.

Park Hyung Shik was as great as he usually is and I’m SO glad that he’s back from his military enlistment.

The Story

This drama is about two best friends. Sunwoo and Eunsoo. They’ve been best friends since they were nine years old and Sunwoo has been in love with Eunsoo for about that long as well. We follow along as they come to terms with their feelings for each other. Sunwoo, thinking that maybe it’s time to move on from Eunsoo to save their friendship and Eunsoo, coming to the realization that maybe the love that she’s never had was right there all along.

Main Male Lead

I am a sucker for an unrequited love story and my guy Sunwoo was in love with his best friend, all on his own. For years. Park Hyung Shik plays this role really well. I’m sure that I would enjoy watching him act in a toilet paper commercial but I was really soft for Sunwoo. He was a great friend. He was a good person. And seeing him step back from confessing his feelings for his best friend because she turned him down before he could ever say anything, made for an angsty romance that I thought Park Hyung Shik carried really well. He does those longing looks justice, haha.

Sunwoo was a talented photographer who had a shot for international recognition for his work and seeing him struggle with staying or going made my heart hurt for him. I was happy with his choice and I was a really big fan of Sunwoo so I was rooting for him from the jump. Loved him.

Main Female Lead

I haven’t watched a lot of things with Han Sohee but I did enjoy her in this one. Seeing her slowly come into her feelings for Sunwoo made the show all the more interesting. Sure, I thought that she took her sweet time coming into those feelings but all is well that ends well. I never doubted her feelings when she finally realizes that she’s in love with Sunwoo and was scared that she might be too late. It made their coming together all the more worthwhile since she suffered on her own just like Sunwoo did.

I did wonder how I would have felt if I didn’t share my best friend’s feelings and found folders and folders of pictures of myself on his computer. I had secondhand embarrassment for Sunwoo but Eunsoo handled that whole thing just like she handled everything else, clumsily but cutely. Go figure that this show was only four episodes and yet, it felt like it took forever for Eunsoo to come into her feelings. But when she finally realizes them and acts on them, I was so satisfied.

The Cast

There was only one familiar face included in this cast but it was a pleasant familiar face. I didn’t like him for Eunsoo but I did like seeing him again. I also enjoyed the couple that ran the restaurant that Eunsoo and Sunwoo frequented, I adored Eunsoo’s Mom, and I liked Sunwoo’s work friends (except the girl that tried to hit on him, haha) as well. Most of the screentime was spent on Sunwoo and Eunsoo so there wasn’t much left over for the rest of the cast but still, the cast did a great job with the time they were given and I enjoyed them all.

Final Thoughts

There were only four episodes in this entire drama but I never once felt cheated or felt that their relationship, their story, or anything else for that matter was rushed. It was like a long movie that hit all of the right buttons to make my heart happy. There were soft moments, more emotional moments, and a lovely romance that I really enjoyed from beginning to end. It’s another great addition to Park Hyung Shik’s acting resume and I definitely recommend it.

Review: Yumi’s Cells 2

Yumi’s Cells 2

Starring: Kim Go Eun, Park Jin Young, Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, Mi Ram, Kwon Seung Woo
Year Released: 2022
Number of Episodes: Drama, Comedy, Romance
Country: South Korea
Director: Lee Sang Yeob
Screenwriter: Song Jae Jung, Kim Yoon Joo, Kim Kyung Ran
Where I Watched It: Viki

Who I Watched It For: Kim Go Eun, Ahn Bo Hyun

After suffering a painful breakup, Yu Mi’s love cells have shut down completely, but a chance meeting with the emotionally stunted game designer, Goo Woong, changes all of that. Waking up a number of each other’s cells, Yu Mi and Goo Woong find themselves drawing closer, but even with the revival of their long-dormant love cells, their relationship wasn’t destined to last.

Now a much wiser and more mature individual, Yu Mi finds herself willing to take on a set of challenges after an unexpected source of inspiration ignites her internal fire. Inspired by her co-worker, Bobby Yoo, Yu Mi and her hard-working cells set out to make all of her dreams come true.

I watched the first season of Yumi’s Cells and was completely surprised at the ending. It didn’t take me long to get over that ending, especially when we found out that there was second season forthcoming. I liked that the romance between Yumi and Woong wasn’t perfect and in my heart of hearts, I did like Ba Bi and wanted him to get a shot at trying to make Yumi happy…as long as Yumi eventually got back with Woong after Woong grew up so more. So I went into this show with high hopes of a new romance and an eventual reunion. Let’s get on with this review, shall we?

The Story

Yumi’s back and though she’s hearbroken over her breakup with Woong, we see her struggle but pick herself back up and move on. She’s still the same Yumi we know and love but this time around, she’s focusing on her writing and falling in love again? But this time, with Yu Ba Bi. You’ll remember Ba Bi from last season as the coworker that had a crush on Yumi but their timing was never right so they never became anything. While Yumi works on putting her life back together, it’s nice to be reunited with her cells.

I was a big fan of Yumi from season one and though she got on my nerves from time to time, I still adored her. This time around, we’re treated to more Yumi goodness with different characters and a new romance but does Yumi get her happy ending this time around or nah?

Main Male Lead

Yu Ba Bi. The minute that Ba Bi and Yumi get together, he is the perfect boyfriend. He’s making me swoon every other episode because he’s so supportive of all things Yumi. He was supportive of her work and when things weren’t going so well for her, he was there to pick her spirits up and help her find her way again. He was never overwhelming in his love and support of her so the whole thing with Da Eun threw me for a loop. It didn’t make sense to me. He’s so in love with Yumi and then one girl looks his way and bam, he turns into this person that is not the Ba Bi I have come to love.

I love Babi and I even enjoyed his love for Yumi and their relationship…but I hated the way that their relationship ended. I wasn’t a fan of the Babi that was jealous of Woong but held his tongue to keep the peace. I wasn’t a fan of the fact that he never talked about anything that bothered him with Yumi. They never fought and a huge reason is because Babi kept everything inside. He told Yumi what she wanted to hear, even if it meant that he hurt himself. It felt like he didn’t have enough faith in his relationship with Yumi and in the end, it cost him the relationship as a whole.

I haven’t seen Park Jin Young in anything outside of this series (both seasons) but I’m a really big fan of his now even though I ended up not caring for his character, Babi. Park Jin Young forever though!

Main Female Lead

Yumi is a lot more mature in this season than she was in the first one. A lot of that had to do with both of her partners in each season but that isn’t to say that she didn’t struggle. Kim Go Eun is a really great actress. I felt everything she felt, I rejoiced in her ups and cried in her downs and through it all, I wanted her to rise above and just body everything and everyone around her. Yumi is such a great character and I adored the hell out of her. Seeing her heartbroken hurt my heart but seeing how strong she becomes in the end made my heart soar for her.

She’s come a long way since we first met her and you could see the strength she develops at the end, when she makes her own choices without help from her cells? Man, that was satisfying as hell. She was in control of herself and of the choices she makes. I felt like a proud mama watching it all.

All of the red flags around Ba Bi made me sad for her because for someone who was so perfect, the red flags didn’t make sense. I loved that we see her struggle with loving him and forgiving him and then finally, letting him go. She went through a lot to be with Ba Bi and I loved that when she was with him, she was loyal to the soil. Even when Woong came sniffing around her again, she wasn’t ever unfaithful to Babi in word and deed and she a better woman than me cause I would have been trying to be with them both, red flags and all. So yeah, I love this woman!

Second Lead

It hurt my heart to see Woong back in action…as the second lead. Man, he loved him some Yumi and seeing him in a better place than the last time we saw him and being so low key supportive of writer Yumi made my heart swell over for him. All of the frustrations that I had with him in the first season went away because this was the Woong I wanted him to be for Yumi from the jump. It just really sucked that he was a walking green flag but it was already too late for him. Man, I thought for sure he was going to be the main lead in the end but the longer I watched, the more I realized that this show is about Yumi’s journey and not Yumi and Woong’s journey together. It ain’t gonna happen for my guy but I’m mighty curious to see if we get a third season and if we’ll see what happens with the character that is vaguely introduced at the end of this season…which I hear is Yumi’s man from the webtoon.

Anyway, Ahn Bo Hyun did a fabulous job as Woong and I adored him so much more in this season. I wish him the best and hope that he ends up with his own happy ending, as long as it ain’t with that hoe from season one.

The Cast

It was nice to see all of our old friends from season one, like Yumi’s coworker friends, Ruby, and even Louis. I also liked the new characters that we met for the first time, especially Control Z, and Ahn Dae Young. They were nice additions to the story and I was only a little mad when Sae Yi’s ass makes an appearance. I still don’t like her ass. Don’t care. But everyone else? Yeah, they’re nice so keep going.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this drama was fun but it also came with its fair share of annoyances. The whole Babi and Da Eun thing can take a hike and I was sad that we didn’t get more from Yumi and Woong but overall, Yumi’s story was a good one. Her character growth makes watching this show so worth it. There were plenty of laughs shared, lots of swoony moments, and I’m hoping we’re going to get a season 3. I need to meet this new guy. Please! I recommend.

Who I Watched It For: Hwang In Yeop

The youngest partner at one of the nation’s most prestigious law offices, Oh Soo Jae has already proven she has what it takes to be one of the country’s best lawyers. Driven by her self-righteous principles and a never-ending desire to win, Soo Jae is well on her way to becoming one of TK Law Firm’s top attorneys. But when one of her cases takes an unexpected turn, Soo Jae is forced to watch as all of her hard work comes crumbling down around her. Demoted at work, Soo Jae is forced to take on the role of adjunct professor at a local law school. Determined to win back her position within the firm, Soo Jae does her best to settle into her new role but the sting of demotion still lingers. Only after meeting Gong Chan, a university student whose path frequently crosses with Soo Jae, does that sting begin to lessen. Despite carrying the burdens of a painful past, Gong Chan’s warm heart remains strong, especially as his affection for Soo Jae grows.

Obviously smitten with Soo Jae, Gong Chan stays by her side, even as she struggles to find a way back into the firm’s good graces. Will her determination and Gong Chan’s support be enough to restore her position, or will the powers that be continue to push her down?

Hwang In Yeop is the main reason this drama was on my radar. I really enjoyed his character and his acting in True Beauty so when I saw that he was starring in a new drama, I put it on my watch list. I was excited to see him in a role where he was the main lead. This drama was plot heavy but I really enjoyed the character development between the two main leads. It’s not my favorite drama of the year or anything but I enjoyed it a great deal any way.

The Story

This story follows our main female lead, Oh Soo Jae, who is a lawyer at one of the top law firms in Korea. When we first meet Soo Jae, it’s obvious that she’s working on adding more accomplishments to her already impressive resume but it isn’t easy for her. She’s gone through so much in her life and she’s worked hard to get where she is but being where she is comes with a lot of shit. She’s at the very center of everything that this show has to offer. She’s surrounded by so much corruption and is trying her best for redemption and each episode presented case after case after case that made reaching for the things she wanted so much harder.

The bad guys needed to be brought down because they were some serious bad guys and Soo Jae proved with every passing episode that she was the one to bring them down. When a case she’s working on goes bad, she’s sent to work as a law professor and that is where she meets our male main lead, Gong Chan. Gong Chan is a victim of the bad guys and when things heat up between Soo Jae and Gong Chan, we find out that there’s a deeper connection where the two of them are concerned. Things really take off when they start working together at the school clinic. They have the same enemy and though Soo Jae thinks she needs to take them down on her own, I was glad that she had a team that was ready to have her back against them.

Main Male Lead

Hwang In Yeop won me over in True Beauty so I was excited to see him tackle another role, a main lead role at that. Gong Chan’s story was an interesting one and it was one of my favorite things about the beginning of this drama. I wanted to see how he tackled all the wrongs that were done to him but there were times when I thought the story moved his part of the story really slowly. I also thought the way that his story was told was stilted and weird.

There were times when I didn’t buy that Gong Chan was mad. I wished he was a lot more mad than he showed. I liked how steadfast he was in his love for Soo Jae and I loved that he was a good person, with a good heart no matter how different his life turned out (through no fault of his own). My heart hurt for the things that he went through and when he finally gets the justice for everything he went through, I was relieved for him. I just wished that a lot of the way that things were handled where he was concerned, was handled differently. I still love me some Hwang In Yeop though.

Main Female Lead

Soo Jae is the main character in this drama and I thought she handled her role really well. She was a bad ass in the courtroom and I liked that thought she came off cold and reserved, she was fair and she was caring in her own reserved way. She was always thinking one step ahead of everyone else and it wasn’t hard to see why she was at the top of her game. She worked really hard to get there and suffered even harder on her way to the top. She wasn’t always at the top and the way that she fought her way up there and continued to fight at every turn was exhausting for me to watch so I’d imagine it was even more exhausting for her.

Second Lead

This is the second show that I’ve watched this actor in and I liked this guy a lot more in this drama than I did in the other one (My Roommates a Gumiho). Growing up in the family that he did, it wasn’t hard to see why he wanted to break away from those toxic pieces of shit but even as much as I admired him for that, I still didn’t want him to end up with the girl. I liked that he tried his best to protect everyone around him but his bratty attitude toward the main male lead wasn’t a good look for him and the more he balked at their romance and their feelings for each other, the more I was good on him.

The Cast

There are a lot of familiar faces in this drama and because of that, I thought I’d enjoy it a lot more. My favorite characters were everyone from the school. The team of law students that helped Soo Jae with the cases from the clinic. I loved how they each had a different role on the team and I really enjoyed the way that they all worked together.

The antagonists did their jobs well because I hated their asses. All of them. The way that they used their powers for evil, not giving one damn who was hurt in the process and sending innocent people to prison for things that they, themselves did make me mad and I stayed mad for a lot of the show. I especially hate Choi Tae Gook and Choi Joo Wan. Ugh, just saying their names in my head makes me mad. Haha. Anyway, everyone played their roles well.

Final Thoughts

This drama starts off really strong. I was invested in what happened with both Oh Soo Jae and Gong Chan. I came to love their people and the team that they both worked on. Though I don’t normally enjoy the student/teacher relationship, the way that this relationship came about soothed that beast for me so I wasn’t too annoyed about it.

The overall story being told here was emotionally driven and I liked that. Lots of revenge and bad guys that needed taking down and who better to take them down but Oh Soo Jae? I can’t say that I completely loved the entire show since there were chunks of the show that dragged for me and the story writing itself left me wanting more. The ending was satisfying and I’m not at all mad that I watched it.
